The Devil - a scary story by Thomas
10 07 2006THE DEVILS
I stood in front of the guards, crying. “Who put you down here?” one of them bellowed.
“I don’t know because the person had a devil costume on himself. I know It was a man because he talked and his voice was low,” I replied, sobbing.
“ We are going to let you go now,”boomed a guard in a gruff voice. I had been released from the court room. I hadn’t done anything wrong, but a person had thrown me into a room full of spiders. I sat alone In my bedroom, thinking about who that man could have been. I suddenly heard my dog barking. I went downstairs and went outside to see what my dog was barking at. I stopped short when I saw the man in the devil suit again. I gasped in terror. “Come with me now!” boomed the devilish voice. I had cracked the code. The person was not a man. He was a devil. I spun around to run into the house, but the devil grabbed me. “I thought I told you to come with me!” boomed the devil again. I tried to scream, but the devil had his hand held firmly over my mouth. I struggled to breathe. Then I let out an enormous burp. It stank of garlic. To my surprise the devil dropped down on the floor. He wasn’t breathing. He didn’t move a muscle. He was dead. “Yes!” I said out loud. I turned around to go into my house, but I stopped when something brushed against my leg. I turned around and to my horror saw a whole army of devils coming towards me. I ran inside and grabbed some garlic. I had read in a book that devils die if they smell garlic. That’s why when I burped the devil died. I ran out with garlic in my hands and dropped them on the floor. I started throwing the garlic at the devils, and they all started dropping on the floor. I ran inside once I had killed all of the devils. That night, when I was going to bed, I saw a devil blocking the entrance to my bedroom. I went to hit the devil, but he dodged my hand. Then I noticed that my hands stank of garlic. The devil smelt the garlic and exploded. Then I noticed that the devil was a robot. I filled up a load of water bombs the next day. I went outside and made a thick line of them. The devils tried getting to me but they just exploded. Then I saw the arms stretching towards me. I picked up some water bombs and threw them at the devils and all of the devils exploded except for one. The devil glared at me. His terrifying glare made me get the last piece of garlic, but the devil just snatched the garlic out of my hand and ate it. I tried getting my dad’s airgun and shooting the devil, but the bullets went straight through the devils body and the devil was still alive. I sung a lullaby and the devil fell asleep. I got the axe, still singing just in case the devil woke up. I went to the devil with the axe and brought it down and sliced the devils head off. Just when I thought that was the end of it, the devil grew another head. Then I remembered something from my devil book. They died if you were nice to them. I sung him some songs and he dropped down dead, and I lived in peace for the rest of my life. Unlike the devils!
