Y6 Starting Point Projects
20 07 2006Remember when ‘Y6s got day off?’. Well here are the results! Find out more about the project, see the work, and listen to the Y6s reflect on their own learning.
Using their chosen area as a starting point, year 6s had to produce 5 pieces of writing (3 non-fiction, 2 fiction), a poem, 3 pieces of artwork, a science or maths investigation, and a piece of work of their own choice.

Well - I am very impressed by the quality of your reflections - I can’t wait to see some of the actual project work (if it doesn’t all go home with you tomorrow!). I think you have shown how mature you are by reflecting so honestly on what you found difficult and enjoyable etc. Good luck at secondary school - I think they are very lucky to be getting such independent and motivated learners.
I knew already that your project work was a bit special but looking at it on the blog tonight made me feel really proud of you all. It is nice to be able to ’show off’ such lovely work and confident young people.
Mr Leach sends his congratulations and best wishes for your futures too.
