We’ve now received the details for pupils/parents to download Kar2ouche titles from home.

For parents without the Internet, please feel free to bring your computer into school for the software to be installed. Pupils are also able to borrow and copy CD ROMs of any of the titles.

To install Kar2ouche at home using an internet connection (broadband recommended).

1) Click on the link here

The login screen should appear.

2) Log on with the school e-mail address (admin@hope etc etc)

3) Type in the password (provided in News and Views on Friday 5/1/06)

4) Select ‘My account’ from the next screen

5) Now select any of the titles from the right hand side of the screen. Click on them and select ‘Save’.

6) Save these to the PC hard drive.

7) Double click on the file 

Currently 3 titles are available on-line for you to download and save. I’ve indicated the age groups the software is aimed at, but do feel free to download and install all the titles.

1) Narrative Texts and Creative writing (For Y5/6)

2) Reading and Writing Stories (For Y3/4)

3) Creative Writing (For KS1)

We have home and school licenses for the whole Kar2ouche suite, which will be made available for you all soon. Full details on the titles coming soon can be found here.
