The Mystery of Pokemon.
 Shelby was a town high in the misty mountains of Mount Cuddles. The mountains were called that because when looked at from afar it looked like the mountains were hugging each other. The town was a beautiful place with all sorts of flowers sprouting up everywhere and a small forest where sun shined through the gaps of the trees and when the sun set the town turned a lovely golden colour. The gentle lake which circled the mountain lapped and sang all day.

 
There was also a temple. Beautiful it was, in it was a statue of a Pokemon made of gold, It was said to be the rarest Pokemon heard of by few, seen by none. Everyday People crowded in to worship it and give it offerings. It sat on a seat carved out of marble and ornately decorated with emeralds, and all around that temple there were strange letters carved from the stone in the walls. Some researchers in the town did as much research as they could, that this Pokemon was 7 metres tall.
Though the statue was gold this Pokemon was a emerald colour. Many people came just to look at it. It had a snake like body with some wings and the end of the tail looked like a fishes. It had black and yellow markings on its body, and with all that information the researchers found out that, this Pokemon went by the name Rayquaza.
There was a legend in Shelby that once the name of the special Pokemon was found by looking at the  letters on the wall, the special Pokemon -  Rayquaza would be free from the statue, but only with help from trainers from other Cities.  This would be good because it is a rare Pokemon and needs to be set free.

 Once the whole town found out that Rayquaza was the special Pokemon. All of the citizens sent their pet Pelipper which is a water type bird Pokemon off to the nearby cities to fetch strong, Smart trainers. The citizens of Shelby town were anxious that night and a lot of the children couldn’t sleep, It was very exciting as they couldn’t wait to see Rayquaza. As morning broke laughing and talking could be heard in the distance. The folk of Shelby ran to their doors immediately to see what the fuss was all about. It was the Pokmon trainers, they were here, at last, and behind the Pokemon trainers flew their pet Pelippers, Now all they had to do was find out which trainer would be able to free Rayquaza. They had thought of a way to test the trainers to see which one would be able to free Rayquaza. So when the trainers had got to the top of the hill, One of the towns people announced what the trainers had to do, so the trainers set off at once into the woods, as there task was to find a rare Pokemon and catch it. As no one had ever spotted a Pokemon in there only a special trainer would be able to find a Pokemon and capture one. It would take awhile anyway so everyone waited and not long because one trainer came out of the woods holding a Poke ball (a ball Pokemon get caught in.) Of course everyone was shocked in Shelby since they had never seen anything in there. The Mayor of the town, James walked up to the girl holding the Poke ball and asked “what Pokemon have you caught”
“A Celebi”
The mayor was astounded. All the years he had been at Shelby and he never knew that there were other rare Pokemon.
“ What is your name?”
“ Ruby”
“Ruby I want you to release Rayquaza from the statue and then capture it.”
“ok Mayor”
Ruby headed to the temple at once with her Pokemon in her Poke ball which was grasped tightly in her hand. When she got to the temple she stared in wonder at the statue of Rayquaza and wondered how she would free Rayquaza. She sent all her Pokemon out, A feraligatr which was a big blue crocodile with big jaws and sharp teeth, A Nidoqueen which had a huge horn on the top of her head which was poisoinous to alot of Pokemon, a Pikachu, a quagsire another water Pokemon which was a baby blue colour and had hands which were a little like flippers, a Nidoking which was the same as nidoqueen but a boy adn purple instead of blue. and a Zapdos a legendary bird Pokemon which was a bright yellow colour and is an electric type. Ruby tried attacking the statue with all sorts of attacks like shock wave, ice beam, poison sting, horn attack, thundershock but nothing happened. Ruby was getting frustrated “come out I challenge you to a battle.” Ruby stared with wide eyes as the gold started to crack, and the green snake like Rayquaza broke free.
“Zapdos shock wave hurry” Zapdos released a electric attack thunder filled the room and then it dimmed, Ruby opened her eyes to see Rayquaza unharmed, Ruby knew it wouldn’t work but tried it, “here goes Poke ball go” the small poke ball went spinning through the air and Rayquaza got sucked into it, Ruby had her fingers crossed the poke ball shaked and the red light was still flashing, any second now Rayquaza is going to break free
The red light suddenly turned off. Rayquaza had been caught. “yesss” Ruby shouted she ran outside to meet the Mayor and the citizens of Shelby, I caught Rayquaza she shouted to them. “ I can see that” said the Mayor as Ruby turned around and saw the beautiful temple tumble down. “how did you catch Rayquaza so quick” the mayor asked.
“just luck I guess”
“hmm let me look at that Poke ball” said the mayor
“yes it was luck this poke ball is a master ball it will catch any Pokemon without fail where did you find this”
“in the temple on the Rayquaza statue” replied Ruby smiling.
