As the minute hand zoomed around the clock 17 times and read 17:59 three figures emerged from different directions through the mist. As they collided and bumped into each other they shook hands and huddled close together whispering. Certain words were heard like “Jake you twit” and “Polly persuade” as the clock chimed out 18 times the group parted and walked through the mist.
Sun shone through the grassy ceiling, it was the start of a new day.
Alexandra Polly and Jake had met in the dump yard and were building something, something special that would help them go on a adventure of their lives.
After six painful weeks of hammering, oiling and other things it was built. A majestic, magnificent, spaceship. In only one day they would be blasting off in cosmic space.
The day zoomed past like light speed. Everyone was feeling refreshed and full of energy. All of them had what they needed. As they boarded the ship they took there places. They liked playing adventure games.
Alexandra finished brushing her mousey brown hair and took command. “Jake, start up the engine and prepare for take off” she shouted.
The spaceship clunked as if lightning had hit, and then the whole ship vibrated violently.
“Umm that wasn’t supposed to happen was it” asked Jake, brushing his green and black striped hair out of his eyes.
“No you, you pea brain” Shouted Alexandra angrily
“Sorry” she mumbled.
The space ship rushed off into space
“Who pressed a button” Alexandra demanded
“No one” Jake and Polly said in Unison.
“But isn’t it pretty outside” Polly said and sighed. The space ship was flying downwards at intense speed
“Where are we” said Alexandra panicking,
“I don’t know lets keep calm” Jake said
The ship hit ground with dust flying up everywhere,
“Um that was a bit quick we should have landed in afew weeks”
“Well maybe it’s a new planet” said Jake excitedly.
“No we’re back on earth” Polly said staring out of the window.
“Ok Jake start up the engine” Alexandra ordered.
The ship rumbled and raced off into the cloudy sky.
Three faces stared out of the window and watching the stars fly by.
An alarm sounded and everyone looked around to see a blazing fire menacingly creeping closer
“Get the carbon dioxide and put out the fire with it” screamed Polly
“Oh yeah as if that’s going to work” shouted Alexandra back in her ear
“Just try it” and Polly grabbed the extinguisher and sprayed the foam all over the fire some getting in her light brown hair. Nothing happened.
“heh wrong extinguisher” said Polly quite calmly, and grabbed the other one, and sprayed it all over the fire, the fire died down and disappeared.
“I’m tired let’s get some rest”
The crew slept for a few hours and woke up and immediately looked out of the window, to see a purple planet with yellow mist swirling around it.
“Do you think you can steer to that planet, we could discover a new one” Polly cried excitedly.
“We would be in newspapers all over the world” squeaked Alexandra.
“Let’s go then” said Jake
“It’s about a few million miles away so in about an hour we should land” Jake explained while at the controls.
“We should rest until then” Jake said.
So the team got in their bunkers and just as soon as they were drifting off a loud piercing scream ripped through the air.
“Whats that noise” shouted Alexandra trying to be heard over the screaming.
“the alarm” said Jake turning it off
“I set it so we would wake up when we got near to the planet” Jake explained
“and by the looks of it we’ve got two minutes until we land” Jake said
The crew waited but it seemed like forever until the ship seemed to swoop and land gently onto the surface and then all was quiet until the door of the ship squeaked and fell off
Jake, Polly and Alexandra stepped onto the purple atmosphere in their space suits and looked around them, It just looked like another planet they had seen on television, just one colour, deserted and old, the yellow mist was now around their thighs as Polly looked down to see what the ground was like, she sighed it was just the same colours and then gave a small shriek. “Theres a weird thing staring at me”
“actually it is kinda cute” Polly bent down to stroke the little creature
“Polly don’t touch it it could be harmful” Jake shouted.
The creature hopped past them and into the ship, the crew followed
The thing into the ship and saw the creature holding the steel door of the ship on the huge flowery petals on the top of its head. It then started gnawing at the hinges of the door and fixed the door back.
“Its helping us” shouted Polly with joy.
“whats your name” Polly asked in a sweet voice
“Katner” the creature replied.
Didn’t expect that Polly thought and all the others thought the same thing.
“if your stuck on this planet look around for a bit and you’ll find something you need” said Katner and off it hopped.
“well we might as well do what Katner said” said Alexandra.
So all of them set off into the purple planet.
After trekking for four hours seventy two minutes and 312 seconds (they had space watches with them) The crew were starting to get tired
“I feel as if I’ve walked around the whole planet” groaned Alexandra
“lets walk a little further and then rest” Jake said.
They all walked a little further and stared in wonder and amazement at what lay ahead of them “wow” Sighed Polly shocked
This was no normal planet. A beautiful patch of purple grass with purple trees sprouting up everywhere, little purple flowers were all over the ground and the trees bore fruit and there was purple fruit hanging off each flower petal, that wasn’t the best bit either, there were loads of monsters exactly like Katner, small, oval green bodies with big, round sparkling eyes covering almost all of their body with a small mouth and on the top of their heads were long stalks and three huge flowers.
They were everywhere milling around gobbling up food and sleeping ad playing monster games.
“There’s food everywhere this must have been what Katner was talking about” Polly exclaimed. Just as Polly was picking a piece of fruit from a flower a space ship landed very badly causing a squashed monster. Alexandra grabbed as much fruit as she could carry and Polly scooped up Katner in her arms then they all ran to the ship.
Alexandra Polly and Jake ran into the space ship half glad half sad but when they went to bed they were excited about getting home with Katner sitting contently by their side.
Hours slipped past and finally the ship landed
The pilot who helped the three friends helped them out of the ship along with Katner who was snuggled deep down Polly’s jacket
“if you need a lift I can bring you home” the Pilot said
“no thanks you’ve helped us enough” said Jake
And after going on the adventure of their lives and found a friend the three friends set off home

Really good. Great discription and a great plot. It should have been longer because it was so good.
