On Thursday 5th March it will be World Book day. To celebrate everyone  is going to dress up as their favourite book character. There will be a prize for the best dressed person in each class.

We had great fun building snowmen at school. The snow was so deep. Everyone loved it.

The Friends of Hope organised a fantastic night out for everyone on Saturday. There was a lovely buffet laid on and it was great fun betting on the horses. Thank you to everyone for supporting the event.

Edward with his guide dog Ben

We had some special visitors at our school today. Edward brought in his guide dog called Ben. Edward told us all about how special his dog is. We sang a noisy hymn with clapping and Ben took no notice. Ben is trained to help Edward in lots of special ways. He is Edward’s eyes. Ben wears a special harness and guides Edward when he is walking along. We raised £52 for the Guide Dog Charity.

On Friday Mrs Mosedale told everyone she was going to be our permanent headteacher. Everyone was very pleased.
