Our School Mission Statement
Our Mission Statement sets out the ethos and vision for our school:
Together we learn!
Together we achieve!
-We promote a love of learning within a safe and happy school, in which every person matters.
-Christian values and spirituality are at the heart of all aspects of school life.
-We provide a creative and challenging curriculum in order to encourage children’s confidence and self esteem.
-We work in partnership with governors, parents and our local parish community and celebrate success in all we do.
-Our school’s Christian ethos reflects mutual care and concern- where faith, love, hope and truth flourish. Our school is a place where children are able to encounter a ‘living faith’ through Collective Worship and Religious Education.
-We want all the children at Hope to feel secure and happy, with a view to fulfilling their true potential. We believe that happy children learn well.
¨ We aim to create an environment…where children develop the confidence to think for themselves and enjoy their time at school.
-We encourage the children to be actively involved in developing learning skills and ideas, in order that they can work and achieve to the best of their ability.
-All children are set challenging, yet achievable targets and children play an active role in the setting and review of these targets.
All these aims are embodied in the National Curriculum. The governing body of the school has agreed to adopt the local authority’s policy on the aims of the curriculum.
