Kar2ouche at home and at school

Kar2ouche screenhotA few months ago school acquired a new piece of software which enables pupils to role-play, create story boards, produce pieces of art and animations. Children are already familiar with this sotware which is known as Kar2ouche.

We have now upgraded our existing Kar2ouche software which enables all 24 primary kar2ouche titles to be used in school and in pupils’ homes.

Forest Schools 

Class 1 had a brilliant time this afternoon in Cantlop Woods as part of Forest Schools.

An information evening for parents is to be held on Wednesday 8th November at 6.30pm. If any parent has any queries about Forest Schools, please post a comment below and we’ll do our best to answer them.

 Yesterday afternoon we went to Forest School.  First of all we saw Dan.  Secondly we looked at the toilet.  Next we saw the fire triangle.  He showed us how to sit down carefully.

Class One’s Safari

clip_image002.jpgClass One went on safari down to Hope churchyard (a sheltered, area with lots of trees) to search for minibeasts and plants. The children will compare this with an exposed area in the school grounds to see what differences they can find. Hear their podcast here.   They visited the school ground on Tuesday 13th June. The Pond is Finished

Thanks to Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Mrs Evans and help from lots of parents, our wildlife pond is now completed. Mrs Keeble from the wildlife trust will be working with classes 1 and 2 to do pond dipping soon.
